CSD Unites Community Foundation
The CSD Unites Community Foundation needed to re-position its organization as a capacity-building foundation focused on empowering deaf and hard of hearing organizations. We designed their logo, set up their color scheme, and prepared a brand guide.
CSD Unites was undergoing a name change to include "Community Foundation" and wanted to put the focus on its capacity-building aims. I landed on the concept of mountains being grown layer by layer to relate to the capacity-building and incorporated the ASL sign "community" in the geometric mountain design. In this process, I also established the overall look and feel of the brand and developed a brand guide to identify the exact colors and text, and the organization webmasters and designers were able to translate these designs and brand guidelines into a variety of applications, such as t-shirt fundraisers.
