FLOW is the precious state I am in when creating. An author, Susan Cain, wrote in her book Quiet, "Flow is an optimal state in which you feel totally engaged in an activity... In a state of flow, you're neither bored nor anxious, and you don't question your own adequacy. Hours pass without your noticing."
BIRD reflects my love of birds, particularly how they epitomize colors and patterns. This also represents when the flow of creativity is allowed to take flight.
FLOWBIRD represents how many components can come together fluidly to create something lovely. Recall the last time you've looked out of your car window to see birds flying together in what looks like a single organic mass.
DESIGN is found here as graphic design and art. These two categories share many of the underlying design principles but differ in techniques and applications.
SOLUTIONS are for you! Many of us experience design dilemmas and I can help in finding solutions. If you would like to have my help, let's talk.
Design Flowing Together
ARTIST STATEMENT
The world is changing rapidly. Even the birds' migratory patterns are changing. I am an extroverted introvert, and when I create, I slide into a flow. When I am "in the flow," the entire world disappears and my field of vision becomes narrow like sand slipping through the hourglass. When the flow takes place, magic attaches itself on my neurotransmitters, firing towards the neurons, flying all the way from the dendritic fringes into my fingertips onto paper, canvas, wood, walls or screen. This process is where my imagination takes fight and like hordes of birds flying together, colors and shapes come together.
